Current Status of the Patio Radio Network  January 14, 2010:

Green Indicates: Fully Operational
Yellow Indicates: Operational but has slight problem
Red Indicates: Off the air

Listing is from North to South

Olympia, Washington: Operational
To the best of my knowledge, Olympia (located at Capital Peak) is fully operational.
This site now has coverage as far south as as mile post 38 with only a 6 mile "dead spot" until Portland coverage begins at mile post 32. THIS SITE IS NOT LINKED IN AT THIS TIME.  .......NO RADIO PATH!
Portland, Oregon: Operation  102 miles to Olympia
Operation is normal, but there is no link into the rest of the system.

Salem, Oregon: Operational  47 miles to Prairie Pk.
    Salem is fully operational.

Eugene, Oregon: Fully Operational  96 miles to Portland
     Eugene is fully operational.

Grants Pass, Oregon: Primary is Operational

Steve's (WA6YSM) Elk Mountain site is "Fully Operational" with a recent change in the configuration.  Primary Repeater is normal but the north bound 420 Mhz link has been modified to talk to "King Mountain" and the south bound 420 Mhz link has been removed.
Eventually Steve (WA6YSM) may be moving this equipment package to a more favorable radio site servicing the actual Grants Pass, Oregon city area.

Grants Pass, Oregon "King Mountain @Wolf Creek": 114 miles to Prairie Pk.

It is the primary of choice when in the Southern Oregon territory.

Klamath Falls, Oregon: Full Operation:
The repeater is fully operational and linked into the system. It covers Highway 97 from the Dorris, CA / Klamath Falls, OR area.

Happy Camp Mtn. (Canby, CA)  62 miles to Klamath Falls

The site is down, suspect a power supply problem. Actually it turns out that the USFS tower failed and fell. No ETA for restore of service.

Likely Mountain (Alturas):  34 miles to Happy Camp Mtn.

This site is now linked into the system via Happy Camp Mtn. (7/31/2007)A new GE MASTR II repeater replaced the MVP repeater. 7/2007. Since Happy Camp is down we changed the link path to Shasta, it's not the best path but it's better than nothing.

Yreka, California: Full Operation: 72.5 miles to King Mtn.
Yreka is fully functional, the location of the repeater was moved this Fall (2003) to a new site, Mahogany Peak. This has improved the north bound path to King Mountain. The repeater and north bound and southbound radios were changed out to GE MASTR II stations, replacing the MVP radios (6/2005).

Mt Shasta, California: 11 miles to Dunsmuir
Put in a new battery charger 6/2007

Dunsmuir, California (Soda Ridge):  45 miles to Mahogany Pk.

This 900 Mhz to 420 Mhz is operating normally.
